Specialized performance/fitness training that focuses on developing the proper technique for the athlete to access maximum speed, strength and explosive power. This one-day clinic, led by Top Drive Performance, featuring Xavier Rush of XR Elite, former Division 1 and NFL receiver. Xavier will provide the instruction and development of overall speed and agility for the individual student-athlete, which is util. Student-athletes participating in each session will learn proper running form, correct body mechanics for quick explosive movements, and proper acceleration/deceleration patterns. Equipment that will be incorporated throughout the clinic will include (but not be limited to) hurdles, ladders, and cones. Training exercises will be performed on artificial turf. In addition, TDS will feature Performance Yoga designed to minimize injury, increase flexibility, and improve heart rate rest intervals.
